Dr. Steve Henderson Joins Cizzle Bio as Senior Consultant, Grant Writing & Research

With a distinguished background in biomedical research, clinical trials, and scientific communication, Dr. Henderson brings a wealth of expertise that will support Cizzle Bio’s mission to advance early cancer detection through innovative biomarker-based diagnostics.
A Strong Foundation in Research & Scientific Communication
Dr. Henderson earned his Ph.D. from the University of California at San Diego and San Diego State University, where he also served as an adjunct professor. His career spans multiple disciplines within medical writing and research, including:
Clinical trials for Alzheimer’s Disease
Co-authoring research and book chapters on neurological injury and treatment outcomes
Editing journal articles, books, and clinical trial protocols
Writing and securing grants for scientific research (e.g., NIH, SBIR, DOD)
Blogging about cancer clinical trials and medical advancements
His ability to simplify complex scientific concepts and translate research into funding opportunities and impactful publications makes him a valuable asset to Cizzle Bio’s research initiatives.
